Bonding Time…

Good morning crafty friends, thanks for stopping by

Friday again already, can you believe it! We have had a few nice days this week so hopefully Spring is on the way. My neck is improving I think but it is slow (and expensive) progress. I’m itching to get out in the garden and do some tidying up but can’t at the moment so it will have to wait

I have news, I’ve joined Kitty and the DT over at My Mum’s Craft Shop. I’ve known Kitty for many years from when she was on the Lili of the Valley DT and she sells some fabulous goodies in her online store

I’ve been stamping for over 20 years and have seen so many new products come and go in all those years that it has to be something very special to get me excited. As soon as I saw the Dreamerland Crafts stamp range I loved them all, they are so cute!

I’ve chosen one called ‘Bonding Time’ for my first make and I think you’ll be seeing more of these from me. The characters are adorable, they are just a bit different from everything else that’s around which is quite an achievement at the moment in the saturated stamp market

As you know I’m a huge fan of patterned papers – the prettier the better! These are from a Carta Bella pad called ‘Flora’. There are always a couple of sheets that you’re not so keen on in the collections so I love that these are double sided and I’ll be using every single one, they are really lovely

The sentiment is also from the pad which is very handy, I just added the paw print with a Memory Box die

I also used Lil’ Inkers sun, Memory Box puffy clouds and Joy Crafts grass dies

Do have a peek at My Mum’s Craft shop, the Spring stock from all your favourite brands just arrived and there is also a blog here with loads of inspiration for using the products from the team

That’s it from me, thanks so much for all your lovely comments

Have a great weekend everyone

Love Challenge…

Hello all, what you up to today?

I’ve been for my chiropractor appointment this morning and it’s starting to snow a little now so I won’t be moving for the rest of the day. Chance to have a little catch up on the blogs – I’ve missed seeing what you’ve all been up to!

Before my card - don’t miss the Leonie one day special on Hochanda, there are some new products coming soon so real bargains to be had on some of the older ranges. There are amazing samples from all the team and of course inspirational demos from Leonie, it takes me so long to plan my work and then it hardly ever turns out as I expect – I love how she just sets off and goes with the flow

*

There's a new challenge on the Lili of the Valley Facebook page and for February the theme is LOVE

I used one of the new stamps and this is called Loved Up

All loved up

The sentiment is a Penny Black stamp, it’s actually all on one line but I separated it to fit

Flowers and silver twine (one of my favourite products ever) are from the Ribbon Girl

Heart die is from Sue Wilson’s Italian collection

Hope you like it, the challenge finishes on the 15th and there are some great prizes up for grabs

Thanks so much for all your lovely comments, I appreciate any feedback and it’s always great to hear from my crafty friends

Enjoy your Thursday, hope you escape the snow!

Simply print…

Hello my lovelies, did you have a good week?

I’ve had a bad neck for about 3 weeks, I can’t look up or down so I’ve not been able to do as much crafting or spend any time on the computer. I’ve been going to a chiropractor and he said it all stems from my hip and having bad posture over the years. I have had a sore neck occasionally but never as bad as this or for as long and he did say I’m very lucky not have back pain too which thankfully I haven’t. So, fingers crossed the treatment will work. I went in expecting an hour for my £39, that’s not bad I thought, and it’s for 15 minutes…   ouch! so I don’t want to be going for too long

Onto my card, if you miss the Lili of the Valley die cut sheets and art pads you will love their new simply print images. Many of your favourite images (with more to come) can now be downloaded and printed at home which is very handy

These are some of the new mouse images -  key, flowers and champagne, sooo cute!

I printed them quite small and added circle frames. I cut along the edges of the tag and the key so it extended out of the die, I like this technique I think it’s effective…

Hope you like it, it’s quite a CAS card for me but I was pleased with the result

Sorry I haven’t been visiting your blogs recently, it’s hard for me to use the computer at the moment so I have to limit my time on here

Have a wonderful weekend crafters, I think ours will be a quiet one which is nice sometimes
