LOTV designers mini hop – Walk the Plank

 

 

Welcome to the Lili of the Valley Designers Mini Hop!!  By popular demand we have reverted to the original way of doing the hop - we are all going to use the same stamp again as we did with the first hop so you'll get various  different ideas on using the same stamp.

This month we are sponsored by The Ribbon Girl and Lili of the Valley, each have supplied two prizes, and as there are only five DT members taking part this month all five blogs will have a prize up for grabs!!

 

 

 

Today we are showcasing "walk the plank" from the latest release from Lili of the Valley and here’s the card that I’ve made to share with you today…

 

 

 

 

I put a diagonal piece over the front which makes a little pocket to hold the matching tag

 

 

 

 

I’ve just used the little dog from the stamp for the tag, I love making these using my doohickey dies, they’re so cute!

 

 

 

 

I also used doohickey dies for the cloud and the star border, Magnolia patterned papers, Tim Holtz brads and the little charm is from our generous sponsors this month The Ribbon Girl

 

 

 

 

Sorry about the shadows on the pictures, I didn’t realise how bright it was until I looked at the photos tonight!

Lili of the Valley mini hop ….and I’m finally up and running!!!

Hi everyone and thanks for visiting - what a lovely way for me to launch my blog with a Lili of the Valley Designers Mini Hop!!

We have a very special treat for you today because not only will we be showing you several different ways to use a single stamp, but it is also our very first sneaky peek day for the March Lili of the Valley release.

Yes, that’s right, another release from LOTV will be available for sale starting March 28th!!!

The image we are using today is called “Shall We Dance”. This release will be filled with adorable bears, cute couples, and some very new and different designs from Lili of the Valley. Keep your eyes on the Design Team’s blogs for more sneak peeks in the next few weeks.

I decided to make an anniversary card with this cute image…

…and also some matching 'his and hers' gift tags

I usually tend to use the Lili of the Valley children rather than the animals but I really like this adorable pair and I enjoyed making these.

For your information here’s what I used; Core’dinations card, Doo Hickey and Spellbinders dies, Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils, ribbons and flowers from The Ribbon Girl, Maja Design backing papers, Tim Holtz music tissue strip, Stickles stardust
