A bit distressed....

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my Manny, it sounds as though you're all as soft as I am!
Someone else had mentioned before about the little doggy wheels for when his poor legs don't work so that's maybe something to look into for the future; I could just see him whizzing round on those!!

This card is my Lili's Little Fairies challenge card for this week and the theme is 'a bit distressed'
I do tend to distress most of my edges anyway because I like the effect and also because I usually use core'dinations card which works so well with it.

I used sprinkled with sugar from Lili of the Valley, I do love these little mice and they're so great to colour because of the small areas. To be honest I've had this coloured image for a while and I can't remember if I did it or if it's one of June's :o(

Other supplies for the card are Tim Holtz brads, Doohickey dies and distress stickles. As usual I've cut the patterned paper up without taking note of the make - sorry!

Enjoy the rest of your evening x

  3. Anne, that's so funny! I love to give credit where credit is due, but so many times I can't remember the paper or what markers I used, did I even make this card... Ha! That is a sweet image. I love that little guy bouncing on the sifter. Whoever colored it and whatever papers those are, it turned into a wonderful card!

  4. Absolutely gorgeous card. I havent used my mice much yet but I should. I hope the wheels can help Manny, our friend had the paralysed cat and his legs were congenitally deformed. He took to it really well, however I would think dogs tend to take to that sort of thing better than cats so fingers crossed here its a workable option.
