Good morning crafters, thanks so much for stopping by
The weather has picked up again here this few days and its been lovely, can you believe it’s September already, how scary?
Joe started college this week and signs are positive after the first couple of days which is a relief
He came home yesterday full of excitement about the stir fry he’d made, so I have a list of ingredients and he’s doing stir fry tonight for tea (I feel it might be the first of many lol!) He’s always liked to cook, Jess used to pay him to make her food lol, she couldn’t even be bothered to butter a slice of bread …I just hope they teach him to clean up after himself!
Jess is doing well, she’s nicely settled in and has finished her trial so will hopefully be there for a year and she’s been given her own horses to look after now. She fell off the other day and last week had a horse rear up and kick her quite badly, these horse are not like the friendly ponies that she’s been used to riding all her life but she loves it
Time for a new Papertake Weekly Challenge and this week the theme is;
Anything Goes…
with the optional extra to do make a Christmas card or project
I decided to stick with the Christmas theme and used one of the new Lili of the Valley stamps
This one is called Swirly tree
I like these more traditional images for a change and this is very easy to colour
I used Lili of the Valley Krafty Christmas papers and Christmas Handwritten Phrases
You can get the fab rusty jingle bells and red Velvet Lace from The Ribbon Girl

Hope you like it, have a lovely day everyone xx

gorgeous card Anne and so good to hear your children are settling - love the idea of having a chef in the family - I love to cook but sometimes it would be nice if somebody else did it! Hugs Rachel x
ReplyDeleteLovely card Anne, nice image and layout, goes well with the Kraft Christmas papers.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Anne. It's great when you know your children are doing what they enjoy most. It is so important for their future. My daughter is a graphic designer (it's in the genes!) and she is the Publishing Manager for Thomson Holidays' brochures. My son works for the Football Association and is the National Manager for the Development of youths football and also a coach at Fulham Football Club. Both love their jobs. Hugs, Carol S.xx
