Morning everybody, what you up to today?
The weather is miserable and I’m still trying to rest my knee so I’ve taken your advice (thanks for that!) and I’m spending some time crafting today
I’ve caught up with my cards so on everything I make from now I’m going to use something that I’ve bought and not used – I’ve set myself a challenge and I’m not going to buy anything new until I‘ve made a dent in the huge stash that I already have here!
On today’s card I used a K & Co paper pad that I’ve had for a while and it’s just been sat there in the pile getting ignored. I think papers are probably the main thing I have far too many of, I love them but can’t bear to use them as they’re so nice!
Time for our monthly colour challenge at the Ribbon Girl and this month it’s…
~~ BROWN ~~
Here’s a lovely inspiration picture for you (yum!!)
I enjoyed making this card, it’s an elegant stepper from Craftwork cards and we now have them in the shop at Lili of the Valley
I don’t usually put up many pictures but it’s so hard to take this from a good angle so I thought I’d just show you them all…
This last one is laid out flat so you can see how I decorated all the panels
I used one of the Lili of the Valley art pads, this is in the Romance one and was perfect for the brown theme
I used some gorgeous goodies from The Ribbon Girl and you can find them all on their website here
brown organza ribbon
brown and ivory button twine
brown self adhesive pearls
Here’s the rest of the supplies;
K & Co papers
LaLa Land flag banner
Memory Box puffy clouds
Doohickey slender firs
Hope you like it, have a fab Sunday all of you and thanks for all the lovely comments, I love to read them and appreciate you taking the time x
