Congratulations…

Hello everyone, thank you for all the get well messages - you are a lovely lot!

Seems there have been quite a few of you also not well, I hope you are all feeling better now. I thought I was getting over it when I did my post last week but another week has gone by and I have just not got an ounce of energy, I can’t be bothered to even turn the TV on. I have magazine commissions to do and have just sat looking at them, not getting any further than shuffling a few papers around. It’s been very strange because however I feel I can usually muster up the energy to do some crafting!

Anyway onwards and upwards, I don’t have new work to share so this is a card from last year that never made it to the blog…

LOTV cosy pram

I used some gorgeous Maja design papers (I hate cutting into these but it was a special card!)

The image is a Simply Print of Cosy Pram from Lili of the Valley which you can also get a a digi or a rubber stamp, it’s a lovely image

The heart banner is Penny Black and I did the sentiment on the computer

I made it for my Nephew and his girlfriend last summer when they found out she was expecting. If you visit my blog regularly you’ll know I became a Great Aunt just before Christmas to a precious girl, she is an absolute delight…

I saw the sun today for the first time in what seems like months so hopefully it’s a sign that Spring is not too far away, I sat in the conservatory with Manny and just enjoyed the warmth it was lovely!

Thanks so much for stopping by, have a wonderful weekend crafty friends

  4. Poor you Anne. There seems to be an awful bug about at the moment. Hope you will be back to normal soon. Your card is adorable and love this image. I love Maja papers and they even have their own box, that I sometimes open and stroke the papers!! I struggle to cut into it though!! Your niece looks gorgeous with a beautiful smile. 7. Sorry to hear you had a relapse of your bug. I fully understand the lack of energy, these bugs knock you for six. But the days are getting longer and lighter, so hopefully that will spurn your energies on.

What a sweet photo of their babba too. Utterly gorgeous with those big happy smiles. I hope your sun stays for you. It's been exhaustingly hot here, we can't sleep! I'd trade in a heartbeat! 14. Hi Anne

Thank you so much for your lovely comment on my blog .. .. you are very kind!

So sorry to read you have been struck with the lurgy. Not good when the rest of the family have it too because there is no-one to be the caring nurse!

Loving your Lili of the Valley samples. That character is so likeable!

Hope you are soon 100% and Mr Mojo comes back nice and quickly.

    Have a good weekend.

    Love Jules xx

  16. I'm very late seeing this post and gorgeous card but what a lovely baby card it is too. So sweet and precious with just a hint of vintage feel to it, I love it. I hope you are feeling much better now than when you wrote your post, it seems to take a while to get back to 100% after this nasty virus.
