more LOTV girls…

Good morning everyone, thank you for popping by and I hope you all had a lovely Easter despite the atrocious weather we’ve been having in the UK

*

I didn’t manage to dig any wedding pictures out to share, they’re under a lot of stuff in the attic that I keep meaning to sort through

Our silver anniversary didn’t quite go to plan, Keith had the day off so as it was sunny we decided to have a drive out. On the way home a young girl crashed into the back of us when we’d stopped to let the car in front of us turn. Keith’s little sports car is his pride and joy but thankfully everyone was ok although it certainly didn’t do my neck any good, it’s just been starting to feel better and I’m back to square one

*

I have a couple more cards today using the new girls from LOTV, I like these older girls, they’re great for teens who are past the cute stage

These one is called Coffee

LOTV coffee

and this one is Curls

LOTV curls

The papers I used are from a lovely Stampin’ Up pad and the heart die is Sue Wilson

I have so many part used pads that when I start one now I’m going to try and make a few cards from it. I hate cutting them if they’re pretty, and even when I start a new pad I find myself using the ones first that are my least favourite so I can save the nicest ones

It’s like your best clothes or your favourite perfume, they never end up getting used!

It’s a rare sunny day here today so I’m going to do a bit of gardening this afternoon. I do miss my garden in the Winter and I have some cutting back to do

Enjoy your Thursday crafters

  9. Two brilliant cards and great images. Sorry to hear about your prang and hope your neck has recovered. I am just like you with my papers. I always look for papers I don't love and cannot bring myself to use the ones I do love!! It was such a gorgeous afternoon here in Suffolk, I was doing the same as you, cutting down the plants that had to be attended too. Lovely to wear a T-shirt and not a big jumper!! Hugs, Carol S.xx

  10. These are lovely. I am the opposite with papers using my faves first. I take out the ones I don’t like and make up a pack to sell. Be a devil and use your faves. Hope your neck is better soon x

  11. Two fabulous cards! Fantastic colouring of them both. I especially love the second one cut with the heart die (I'd love to know the exact name of it please if you wouldn't mind). All the papers you've used are gorgeous. I tend to use my favourites first. I'm sorting my craft room and can't believe how much paper and ribbons I've got not to mention the stamps I've not used (really don't mention the stamps as hubby might hear :D ).
I'm so sorry about your car accident. I hope your neck feels better soon and her insurance pays to put your hubby's car back in perfect shape again. At least it was on the way home when you'd had your lovely day out and not before. Take care, Debra x

  17. You have created two fabulous cards using these teen images, great for those awkward inbetween years when a cutesy image is too young, these are perfect. I love the papers and your choice of colour combo too.
I hope your neck is feeling much better by now and the damage to the car is sorted soon, these things happen in an instant but sorting them out can linger on somewhat.
    Take care,
    Lorraine
