Good morning bloggers, it's the weekend again and I'm going to pop into town today I think for a bit of retail therapy.
I'm a hopeless failed dieter and all my clothes are too tight so I'm going to get something new. I've refused to buy a bigger size for too long but I think I'm going to finally have to give in and resign myself to the fact that I'll never be thin ...it's SO hard!
I have a card today to show you using Emma 'presents' from Lili of the Valley (where else lol, I do use other things ...honestly!!)
I love this image, I think it's her little pigeon toes!
I used Core'dinations card, Spellbinders dies, copic markers, lace and flowers from the Ribbon Girl, corner punch (not sure what make this is sorry), K & Co papers and the sentiment was printed on the computer
Hope you like my card, please keep visiting and I'll have a great candy giveaway shortly
Enjoy your Saturday!
Anne xx

The papers are fab, and I love the lace too. Beautiful card! I must get me some K & Co papers! :D
ReplyDeleteAlso, thin is just a number on clothes, you can be beautiful inside and out without being thin - I'd much rather be talented, nice, healthy and loved than thin :)

Hi Anne! Love the vintage feel to this card. The image and colouring are beautiful. I'm still resisting the bigger size but I'm down to my last 2 pairs of trousers! Started my diet on Monday and was good all week but I fell off the wagon in spectacular style today. You know it's bad when you start to eat nutella from the jar!!!! here's to a better day tomorrow. Hugs, Jayne xx
ReplyDeleteAnne, this is really colourful and I love the shabby chic look done with the teal colour, it is really different. It reminds me of the patina effect and also of the carpet bags we used to see alot of in the museums. A very stylish card indeed.
ReplyDeletePlease, lets not talk of weight and dieting:( I have been lucky most of my life not to have struggled with weight even after 4children. Yet now, being less able after spinal surgery (after car accident) I am constantly 'picking' and putting weight on and I hate it. I am like Jayne, I do ok then I fall of the wagon big time. My recent fall was for an Easter Egg and all its little friends 3mini flakes!! Boy, do I feel ashamed now.
Well have a good Sunday all. Hugs Linda
