Good morning lovelies, how are you all today?
I’ve had a few days off and I was going to get allsorts done …I’ve done nothing, and have no clue where the time has gone!
But, I’ve had a nice few days with nothing much to think about and have managed to get a bit of crafting done. I finally got my February Tim Holtz tag finished and the March one is under way, I was determined to keep up with these this year so I am making an effort – just need to take pictures now
I was sorting out my laptop and found this card that I made last year and never shared, it’s one of the Lili of the Valley Summer Bears and this one is Sunny Days and Smiles …
These stamps are great because they come with a useful free sentiment, great value I think for £4.50
I’ve used Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, the seam binding and heart pin are from The Ribbon Girl
The fence is a Magnolia Doo Hickey die and the butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch
You can’t really see on the picture but the fence is cut from glitter card, not something I use very often but it does look quite effective. It’s not very glittery, just a nice sparkly pale blue
I’ve been doing a bit of stitching on some of my cards too but it’s not really neat enough yet to be a feature!
Have a lovely weekend everyone x

such a gorgeous card Anne - and glad you've having a wonderful break - I always wonder how you working ladies manage it - my time is so full there's no time for a job - even if I could get one! Big Hugs rachel xx

ReplyDeleteHi Anne, Glad you are enjoying a few days off. Love the choice of blue and yellow for this card. Very fresh and summery. A gorgeous card. Hugs, Carol S.xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Anne. It was lovely to meet you last week, and I'm sorry we didn't get more chance to chat. I felt a bit guilty as Paul was in the car, but when I went out I found he was half way through a game on his phone so he was oblivious to how long I'd been in there. I must say I really loved browsing the stamps and seeing all the lovely cards by the DT. They're soooo much better in real life than the photos can do justice to themn. I'd love to go again next time we're in Sheffield (which won't be for a while, but I'll definitely be back!) Loved it, but just wished I could have gone to the launch day too. I've had to make do with ordering online. I've just had to nip back just now as I forgot one in my rush on Monday to order the new images. Can't wait!! Have a fab weekend Anne.
