Delightful Daisies

 

 

Good evening crafters, I hope you’re all safe and not affected by the awful weather in parts of the country. We have some snow forecast for tomorrow but I think we will miss the worst of it here

I went on another mixed media workshop at the weekend, this one was a planner class with the fantastic Kate Crane. After being a stamper for 22 years it’s a whole new way of doing things and really takes me out of my comfort zone - but I tell you, I absolutely love it. I have a few magazine and DT cards to do and then I’m going to be playing so I’ll be sure to share and see what you think

Lili of the Valley are having the first Facebook challenge of 2017 and it’s a nice easy ‘anything goes’. There are 3 prizes and the winners will be drawn at random

All the details are on the challenge page and entries close on the 15th

I used one of the new images, this is Delightful Daisies and is a birthday card I made for a special friend…

The sentiments are new too and I used the digi version to shrink it down and add to the tag – a great advantage to digis is that you can change the size

    What a delightful card Anne! I just love the new mice stamp, which of course I had to buy, and you've used yours wonderfully. Lovely paper combination and the die you've used to cut the image out is rather nice. All finished off beautifully with the sentiments and flowers.
    I've woken to snow this morning. We were interested to see what our cats who've never been out in snow thought. They looked out and then ran back into the warmth of the house looking very worried. Bit of a let down really as we wanted to see their reactions to walking in it. Debra x
