Hello crafty friends, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year
The house looks so bare now without the trimmings, I love fairy lights and would have them all year round if it was up to me
I made all the usual nonsensical resolutions that will last about a week… lose weight, go to bed earlier, use my crafty stash, blah blah blah!

A quick post tonight before it’s too late to share Christmas cards, or is it too late already, or too early??
This is one I made for a lovely little card swap group I’m in on Facebook. It’s about 4 times a year and you make a card to send to your allocated partner. It’s just a bit of fun, you get a different partner each time and everyone has very different styles. Let me know if anyone is interested to join in the next one and I’ll let you have some details for Nat who runs the group
I used some stamps and papers that are discontinued so can’t give much in the line of supplies for this but thought I’d still share as I didn’t actually make many Christmas cards for 2016 despite having good intentions
The flowers, pearls, cheesecloth, twine and seam binding are all from the Ribbon Girl
The sentiment is from Digistamp Boutique – they have some lovely ones, cheap as chips too!

Enjoy your weekend everyone, hope you’re doing something nice
Absolutely gorgeous Christmas card Anne! Fabulous colouring and I love her sparkly fur and snow. The bow and the flowers are just perfect finishing touches. A really wonderful card design. What die did you use for the bow, it's so sweet?
ReplyDeleteI'd have fairy lights up all year round if hubby let ma. I'm just burning my mince pie candle to keep it at least smelling Christmasy in our house, of course the real mince pies didn't last 5mins especially as they were from M & S' party range, yummy :D. Debra x
Thanks Debra, I love all the Christmas fayre and a mince pie candle sounds like a yummy idea!
