Evening all, I’ve been a bad blogger again – where does the time go?
I have to admit I’ve been spending a lot of time out and about and in the garden, the weather has been so lovely it’s too nice to sit inside
Keith is off next week and the sun is going to continue to shine so I thought I’d better sneak in a quick post now or it will be another week

I saw a useful post on Facebook this week from the lovely Anne Redfern, an easy solution to the recent problems with comment notifications (or lack of them).I know a lot of my visitors are not on Facebook so I hope this is helpful;

Leonie is featuring some Mama Makes stamps this week on her Let Loose shows on Hochanda, I love these stamps, they’re quirky and a bit different to what I usually use. I made this star book and really enjoyed doing something different…
There’s a lot of pictures but I wanted to show you all the pages. If I make another I’ll be sure to photograph it before sticking together because it won’t lay flat, but I think you can see enough
You can see all these cute stamps and the lovely sentiments on Hochanda on Wednesday at 11 and 2, they’re also available on the Mama Makes website. Loti makes all the stamps herself, she designs some of them and also finds new and exciting artists, they’re quite unique

Keith is watching the football so a nice soak in the bath for me now and a catch up on some Jennifer McGuire videos, it you haven’t seen her then give them a go, she has some fantastic ideas
Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend
This is beautiful Anne. Every page is a delight. Gorgeous creation. xx

DeleteWow, what a fabulous creation! This must have taken a lot of time to make. Love the images and the lovely sentiments. You must have someone special in mind to give this to.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a lovely relaxing bath. I feel like I live on my own as my hubby is watching the footie in a different room while I binge watch Grey's Anatomy from the beginning again :). Debra x
Thanks Debra... I've just started watching that, only about another 310 episodes to go!!
DeleteWhat a super project and beautiful coffee table/conversation piece.
ReplyDeleteI love the quirky images and lovely sentiments with your water-colour backgrounds.
With regard to the die brand that you asked about recently, I'm afraid I can't help you there as it was purchased on Ebay without any packaging but I just liked the pretty scalloped frames.
Lorraine
Thanks Lorraine, no problem I'll keep looking and might just come across it one day x
DeleteThis is so beautiful Anne, a lot of work me things but well worth it. Love all the images and your colouring, it's such an interesting project, Kate x

DeleteI have been a bit like you Anne, as when the sun shines, I want to potter in the garden. I thought I had lost my Mojo but it was really the sun calling me!! Today it called me to walk to the lovely beach, just 20 minutes walk through a nature reserve!
ReplyDeleteI love your star card and the images are brilliant and very different. Great to see new images to play with. Hugs, Carol S.xx
Thanks Carol, I'm jealous - I'd love to live near the beach x
DeleteI agree Anne...when the sun shines...make hay...and not in the craft room! Clever star book though! I've had the same problem with blogger...I thought everyone had deserted me...mind you I have been missing ...so they probably have but I got it sorted by someone else telling me what you have posted...which I am sure will be a lot of help to a lot of people. Why blogger have to mess about I don't know.Good to know I was not alone with the problem. Enjoy your week with hubby!xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Carole, I agree, I don't know why they have to mess with our little blogs at all!
DeleteI am so torn between the craft room and the garden right now. I have seen these star books before but not tried one myself. Love those quirky stamps on yours especially the bare tree in its pot. May the sun continue to shine and the grass not to grow!! Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mrs A x
DeleteOoh your star book is wonderful! Love the images and your backgrounds are fabulous. What lovely work. Will watch Leonie's shows for sure! Thank you so much for your lovely supportive comments, I really appreciate it! Enjoy the sunshine and Keith's week off. xxxxx
ReplyDeleteThank you Chris x
DeleteHiya, I've just been trawling the craft sites, as you do :) and look what I've found?
ReplyDeleteThese dies are very similar to the set you asked me about recently that I didn't know the brand name of.
