Lili of the Valley news…

Hello bloggers, thanks so much for stopping by

We had a lovely time in Rome, what an amazing city. I’ll share a few piccies another time I haven’t had chance to sort through them yet. I love taking photographs but I think with all the digital technology now you just snap away at anything and I took 1000’s. When you had a film in your camera you were more selective, now I take about 20 from every angle and then when I get home they all nearly look the same! Mind you when the Truprint envelope dropped through the door in the old days I was inevitably disappointed because out of every 24 there were probably only about 6 decent ones!!

Onto the LOTV news…

due to some new EU VAT reporting regulations it’s proving difficult for them to sell digital images at the moment. I did mention the new Art Sheets a few weeks ago but they’re also going back to selling printed papers and stamps which I know will please many of their customers

If you are new to Lili of the Valley they have 2 fantastic bundles offering their whole collection of digital images or Simply Print sheets for an unbelievable 90% off. If you already have some of their images (which I think most of you will have) then there are still some great offers if there are any you are missing. They are only on sale until tomorrow so don’t wait or they will be gone

I have a question before you go…

if any of you lovely crafters are subscribed to my blog feed could you let me know if you are still getting an email when I do a new post? I don’t always get a notification now from a few of the blogs that I follow and one of my followers emailed me to say she wasn’t getting any notifications. I know things changed a while back with the new data protection rules so I’m interested to know how it’s affecting the blog and if I need to do anything

Thanks so much, enjoy the rest of your weekend

  1. So glad you have enjoyed Rome! :D There are a lot of cool cities here in Italy, as Venice, Florence and many more, hope that you will enjoy them at another vacation ;)

  2. Happy to hear you enjoyed your holiday. It's somewhere I would love to go. Can't wait to see your photos.

I must admit I'm glad LOTV are going back to what they originally sold especially the paper pads which are mostly what I use. Four fabulous cards. The first ones are so fun but must admit the last two are my favourite. The papers match the colours of the snowmen print so well especially.
I always receive an email notification about your posts on my blog feed. Debra x

  3. Rome sounds lovely, I love Italy but have never been to Rome itself. Looking forward to the pics. Like you say, it's so easy to take a million photos now and then have to sift through them when you return for the best ones. Beautiful cards Anne, despite the holiday you seem to have been very busy in the craft room. xx

With regard to your question...yes I am still getting your feeds but I had to go into blogger and the settings and reset to receiving the e-mail notifications...and now I do! I think this will resolve issues that people may be having. Have a good week xx

  9. Good news about LOTV. I like their papers and stamps. Trust the EU to find even more restrictions to adhere to. They say that even if you spent a whole month in Rome you won't have seen it all. We have been going to Italy for over 20 yrs now(several times a year) and even then haven't seen all of Rome. I could visit Pompeii for ever and never tire of finding a new street to snoop down (most of them cordoned off I have to say but that never stops me). Hugs Mrs A.

  11. I've been crying in my coffee over the LOTV news that the digi's are going. I've got loads, but there's always room for more! I do hope they eventually find a work-around. It's such a shame for me as the digi's are brilliant when I'm buying from New Zealand. Anyhoo, glad to hear you enjoyed Rome. We LOVED it. Such a beautiful city and so much to see! Hugs, Wends xoxo
